Yak Bones, Mixed - Multiple Sizes Available
1 to 2 bags of Yak Bones per order. May or may not come as an equal mix of bone types; may be just one particular type of bone (i.e. knuckle or marrow), depending on what we have in stock.
Tips when making Yak Bone Broth:
If you're looking for a more mild broth we recommend removing/trimming as much fat as possible before cooking. Yak fat is very flavorful similar to bison fat, which will give the broth a more intense beefy flavor. However, the fat can also be removed after the broth is done. Once the broth has been placed in the fridge the fat cap can be removed easily.Â
Please note, there will be some color variations in the fat due to the foraging preferences of individual animals on the ranch. Additionally, bags may simply be labeled as "Yak Bones".
