A little leaner and more flavorful (but also a little sweeter) than beef, makes a great alternative to more traditional Beef Brisket. Yak Brisket tends to come out more tender if cooked low & slow, but does perform very well in a pressure cooker too!
Many of our customers who enjoy our Bison also love our Yak! Please be aware that Yak is less standardized than our Beef & Bison, meaning there will can be significant variation in size, marbling, etc. batch to batch, but it's always delicious!
With more protein and about the same amount of fat per serving as Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, this is a great way to add nutrient-dense, leaner red meat to your weekly rotation without an increase in calories or fat.
